The Department of Computer Engineering, in association with COMPESA, successfully organized an expert lecture on 2nd January 2026, from 9:15 AM to 4:00 PM. The topic of the session was “Java Programming Hands-On Practice”, delivered by Mr. Vishwas Mahadev Khade, an industry expert.

The program commenced with the felicitation of the expert by the Head of Department, Dr. S. A. Lakade. This was followed by a welcome address and introduction of the guest by Ms. Zoya Momin.

The session was then taken over by Mr. Khade, who began with an interactive discussion with the students. He actively engaged with second-year diploma students, sharing valuable insights on current industry challenges, approaches to overcome project-related issues, and career guidance on how students can secure admission to dream colleges or placements in reputed companies after completing diploma engineering.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Aishwarya Shelake. The event witnessed the presence and active support of all teaching and non-teaching staff of the Computer Engineering Department, contributing to the successful organization of the expert lecture.
