Industrial Visit has orgnized by the department of Automobile engineering for the students at Ashok leylands's authorised dealer Rajesh Motors MIDC shiroli on date 27 Sept 2022

Industrial Visit at S.S.Miraje and Sons Ltd Vathar, MIDC Shiroli

The said industrial workshop was arranged in “S. S. Mirje and Co.” Ambap Phata, Vathar tarf Vadgaon. The various concepts from subjects like Materials and Manufacturing Processes, Automobile Engines, Automobile Transmission System, Automobile Body Engineering and Safety, Transport Management and Motor Vehicle act are taught through this industrial workshop.

            In this workshop practical’s like assembly and disassembly of multicylinder engine, spot welding, wheel balancing and wheel alignment, wiring of vehicle, Denting and Painting, MIG welding, Engine diagnosis, Chassis, Gearboxes, Clutches etc…..were covered. All such Subjects/Concepts, in which industrial visits are necessary, covered through same workshop by respective subject teacher. S.Y. & T.Y. students attended this industrial workshop

We arranged & conducted an industrial visit. The name of company is Trendy Wheels Pvt. Ltd., Toap Sambhapur. We have seen working like heavy vehicles maintenance, changing of oil, other work like brake change and checking of suspension system, transmission system, change of engine components of various heavy vehicles.

            The company is ISO certified & has all ISO document like quality manual, operating procedure, quality plan & working instruments. All work carried as per this document & record are maintained

We arranged & conducted an industrial visit. The name of company is Shriram Foundry Pvt Ltd MIDC Shiroli. The Computer Aided Machining and Designing processes. The type of molding process adopted. The composition of sand and other chemicals used. The type of automation in the process. The process used to test the molding sand prepared. The automation in the molding process. The type of core making machines and processes. The melting furnaces used and their capacity. The type of pouring used in the foundry. The method of cooling adopted. Machining processes present in the foundry Fettling Inspection systems
