The department of Electronics and Telecommunications engineering established in 2008, has made remarkable progress since then, with  intake capacity of 60 students. Program  is NBA accredited. Department has well qualified and experienced faculty and state of art laboratories. It fallows outcome based teaching learning process. The department has a good academic culture. Department is committed  for overall growth of students  and to achieve this various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities was conducted along with regular academics, students of the department are also exposed to evolving trends in technology through guest lectures, seminars, and workshops from industry experts. To get aware of industry requirements, the Department organizes Industrial Training for students.

Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering is a three years diploma course deals with analog transmission, digital transmission, reception of video, voice and data, basic electronics, solid state devices, microprocessors, digital and analog communication, analog integrated circuits, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression.

Scope of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

Today in this Era of Modern Technology, Electronics technologies  like  wireless communication ,E-Commerce , Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning,  Robotics, Industry 4.0, Internet of things much in demand .In the coming future there to be huge demand for proficient engineers in industry to cope this demand in technology. An electronic engineer can find job in Consumer electronics manufacturing organization, Telecommunication industry, IT industries, Health care equipment manufacturing industry, Mobile communication, Internet technologies, Power Electronics, and Other industries like steel, petroleum and chemical industry, directing control and testing production process.

Career Prospects:

As an Electronics and Telecommunication engineer, various opportunities are there.

An electronics engineer can get a job in Central Government, State Governments and their sponsored corporations in public enterprises and the private organizations like All India Radio, Indian Telephone Industries, MTNL, National Physical Laboratories, AIR, Civil Aviation Department; Co-ordination Department, National Physical Laboratory, Bharat Electronics Limited, Development Centers in various States etc. In research organization like ISRO.Dealing in manufacture, sales and services of electronics consumer goods and appliances.  Also in information and broadcasting sectors, railways, police, BSF, CRPF and defense related organizations.Electronics engineers are also absorbed into Software Company as Software Engineer; Electronics engineers also have opportunity in the entertainment transmission industry, research establishments, and defense.
