On 23rd December 2025, the Department of Computer Engineering, Ashokrao Mane Polytechnic, organized an industrial visit to Bits Techno, Kolhapur for the Second-Year Computer Engineering students. The primary aim of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the industrial environment and help them understand how theoretical knowledge is applied in real-world IT sectors.

The visit was coordinated by Dr. S. A. Lakade, Head of the Department (HOD), Computer Engineering, along with Mr. A. U. Chavan, Faculty Member, and other faculty members who played a key role in guiding and supporting the students. A total of 181 students, including Second-Year and Third-Year Computer Engineering students, along with 10 faculty members, participated in the visit. The group departed from the college campus at 10:00 AM by bus.

The Principal, Dr. Y. R. Gurav, provided full support for organizing the visit and ensured that all arrangements were well-planned to enhance the students’ learning experience.

Upon arrival at Bits Techno, the students were given a comprehensive tour of the company’s facilities. The company staff explained the infrastructure, operations, and ongoing projects in detail. Students had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals, gaining insights into latest technological trends and understanding how various IT concepts are applied in real-time scenarios. This interaction helped students understand the working culture and environment of an IT company and bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices.

The visit proved to be highly beneficial, especially for the Second-Year students, as they gained a clearer understanding of the IT industry. Many students expressed that the visit helped them realize the practical applications of their academic studies and inspired them to plan their future careers more effectively.
